Dr. Jason Cummings

Jason came to Greens Farms Academy in 2006 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  In his five years at GFA, he has taught Spanish, Latin American Literature and NAIS’s Challenge 20/20 Course, in addition to working as the Grade 9 Dean (2007-2010).  Jason has lead cultural and linguistic immersion trips in Spain as well as in Costa Rica.  In his new role as Director of Global Studies, he oversees the implementation of the World Prespectives Program, GFA’s interdisciplinary approach to teaching issues related to global health, climate change and the challenges presented by the worlds increasing population.
